Chic and sophisticated never go out of style. You can give this classic cut your own spin depending on how short or long you leave it — and on your face shape and hair texture. If you have naturally straight hair, you should have no problem pulling off this look.

How to get the look: Wash your hair with a volumizing shampoo. While your hair is still damp, apply a moisturizing or smoothing serum from the middle to ends of hair to create shine. Blow-dry hair using a diffuser attachment and rounded brush for optimum volume. Go over your whole head with a flatiron for a sleek and stylish finish.


Beach-inspired waves


Tousled, textured waves look great on anyone. The relaxed, just-back-from-the-beach style is fresh, sexy and youthful. Use a wave-enhancing product on damp hair to add volume and tousled waves to this messy-chic look.

How to get the look: Starting with damp, towel-dried hair, massage any volumizing product into your roots, or spray damp hair with texturizing spray. Flip your head upside down and finger-comb product through hair. Scrunch your hair while blow-drying to amp up the texture and volume. For a more defined waves, wrap sections of hair around a medium-sized curling iron and tousle hair to loosen.
